Kinky Malinki's 10th Birthday

At Ministry of Sound, United Kingdom on 20 Sep 2008

Lineup:

Jon Fitz, Mark Robinson, Grant Richards, Danny Quattro, Marie Ann (violin), Ali Bongo (percussion)

Kinky Malinki will soon be ten years old.

Such a milestone in club promoting can't be underestimated. The average lifespan of clubs these days barely hits over a year and for KM to hit ten shows a commitment and verve beyond even the best parties. They've done it by showing great acumen in delivering the finest house music experience the capital can offer, constantly staying ahead of the game in terms of musical choice and ensuring that the environment is befitting of the glitterati that populate their dancefloors.

The Birthday emphasises this even more. After a two-year hiatus, the Kinkyness returns once more to Pacha to take up where they left off. It was for four memorable years that KM delivered the Pacha experience to it's clubbers on a monthly basis, the impact of both brands and their house music and high living ethos coming to fruition for some truly memorable occasions.

Pacha is now even more special than ever before after an extensive process of adding further luxury to the venue. A recent new Soundsystem has been installed by none other than Martin-Audio, one of the world beating firms in high-end sound engineering. On top of this a brand new lighting rig has been installed, adding to the reputation of the club as the most bespoke venue in the UK. Littered with original dÈcor, including many one off pieces of vintage furniture, Pacha London remains the standard point of a club that exhumes luxury in every orifice.

Naturally Kinky Malinki are rising to this momentous occasion by bringing a wealth of talent to ensure the soundtrack remains the focal point. Top of this bill is Jon Fitz, one half of chart topping superstars Herd & Fitz and a DJ who needs little introduction. His unerring ability to delve between the lines of house music and deliver floor-filling stompers alongside underground bangers keeps his clubbers dancing emphatically. Peppermint Jams Mark Robinson is also playing, another DJ of intense pedigree who continues to wow dancers across the globe with his gilt edged beats and mellifluous grooves.

Then there?s Mr Kinky Malinki himself Grant Richards. Resident for the night on the entirety of Kinky?s decade at the top, his knowledge of what makes the KM faithful swoon is unparalleled, and there?s no-one better to celebrate this huge milestone with. He?s joined by Danny Quattro and violin and percussion from Marie Ann and Ali Bongo respectively who round off a scintillating selection.

On Saturday 20th September there will be only one place worth being. Come celebrate a decade of the funk with the best in the business.

Where will you be?

**Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances Pacha London has been closed and will be moved to Ministry of Sound.**
